Help for Haiti
The Youth of Conscious Living Center understand what is happening in
Haiti to varying degrees, but what they all understand is that help is
needed and they can do something about it.
Spare Change Drive Beginning January 31, our youth will begin
an on-going Spare Change drive to benefit the people of Haiti. If you
find yourself passing by our Spare Change Jar at Conscious Living Center,
feel free to make a deposit!
Drum Circles for our Kids!
On the second and fourth Sunday of each month, during the 10:30am service,
our children will have the opportunity to participate in drum circles!
Drum circles will be led by our own beautiful and talented Katy Martin,
with hand-made, kid-sized djimbes (African drums) gifted to our youth
by Master
Drummer Mamadou Kone!
Children are invited to find and express their own, unique rhythm that
lives within them, as well as know the power of the Energy that unites
them all as One. And of course Katy will teach basic care of the precious
djimbes, basic drumming skills and rhythms to help the kids get rolling.
Infinite amounts of gratitude to Katy Martin and Mamadou Kone for sharing
their time, talents and the drums with the youngest members of our spiritual
family! We are so blessed!

Learn How to Play Native American Flute as a Spiritual Practice Workshop Saturday, May 1, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Facilitator: Ann Licater
Connect with your "inner divine musician." Ann Licater teaches
workshop participants to play the Native American Flute so they can bring
out their spirit through an instrument. This is a one-day only BEGINNER
level class. No prior musical experience is required. Participants either
provide their own 5- or 6-hole Native American-style flute or can purchase
one through Ann prior to the workshop.
Class Fee: $125 (non-refundable)

David DiLullo has been facilitating drum circles through out the Bay Area,
with sell-out success! Sure enough his first drum circle Conscious Living
Center sold out! We are eager to have him return. Drumming is a fun way
to reduce stress, meditate and celebrate the divinity in each of us. No
experience necessary! Admission is $15 in advance ($20 at the door, if
