Conscious Living Center is a place where you can improve your experience
of life by exploring and deepening your spirituality. Spirituality offers
an expanded sense of who we are and the role each of us plays in our own
life, enabling us to live life fully. At Conscious Living Center we respect
and welcome people from all religious backgrounds, including those that
are agnostic and atheist. We offer uplifting sermons, classes, workshops,
special events, and a variety of resources, all shared in the company
of a joyful, spiritual community of friends.
How do we see God?
Because we are a spiritual community we invite you to foster your own relationship with the God of your understanding and therefore the highest part of you. You may find it in the brilliance of a sunset, in the eyes of a loved one, in music or in books. Because it is everywhere, we get to choose our own connections; they will be personal to us. The joy is in nurturing the journey!
Rev. Jane feels the presence of God as gentle yet powerful, wise, loving energy that is everywhere, including within each of us. She uses the word “It” because to her It is without gender, and yet It encompasses all genders. She often calls It The God That Adores Me or The Beloved. Your connection belongs to you. If you don’t like the term God, please use whatever works for you – Spirit, Higher Power, Goddess or even Ben!
One thing is sure - The Beloved is constantly knocking on the door of
our consciousness, quietly awaiting our attention. At Conscious Living
Center we happily investigate the many paths in our day-to-day life that
lead to opening the door.
What are our basic beliefs?
- There is only God (or whatever you choose to call It) in and through all things.
- God’s nature is Love, and so is ours.
- God operates according to our belief system – our thoughts are creative.
We investigate these beliefs by encouraging consistent use of 6 points of a balanced spiritual practice that includes:
Prayer Active communion with the Divine
Meditation/Visioning Receptivity to more … the big picture
Selfless Service (Volunteering). There is beauty in knowing that giving and receiving really are the same thing.
Spiritual Study (Education). Keeps us open to new possibilities.
Financial Circulation (Giving, tithing). We give with gratitude because it is our nature to do so. Our joyful giving is returned to us, multiplied abundantly.
Physical Well-Being (Health/Exercise) Tending to the needs of our physical and emotional body is tantamount to our spiritual growth and development.
Who are we?
Conscious Living Center is a family community in every sense of the word.
Here you are welcome exactly as you are, no matter your gender, color,
sexual orientation, disability, age, size or level of sobriety. You will
find acceptance without judgment whether you are celebrating a success,
questioning a life circumstance or grieving a loss. Our Sunday messages
deal with real-life situations as we investigate solutions together. Our
classes, workshops, book studies and events provide the tools necessary
to live a fulfilled and balanced life. These tools are designed to bring
about a greater awareness of our own spiritual magnificence, inviting
us to get involved in life in ways we might never have thought possible.
It’s amazing what happens when you hang out with spiritually like-minded
people!
Families with children are absolutely welcome, from infants to teens. Children too, are gently encouraged to be the very best they can be in a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
We are an inclusive spiritual community. All are welcome to join us.

What is our vision?
At Conscious Living Center, our vision is see God at the center
of everything, to know, feel and express our true nature, which is love,
and to honor our oneness with all life. We do this by:
- Gently building our relationship with the God of our understanding
- Supporting every spiritual path and personal belief
- Welcoming everyone as an integral part of our spiritual community
- Appreciating our human experience, no matter what it looks like
- Living lives that are real and authentic, celebrating mistakes and
successes as natural parts of the growth process
- Encouraging exploration of any question or insight that arises within
our minds and hearts
- Seeing possibility and hope in every situation, knowing we choose
our focus
- Fostering community with other like-minded people
- Providing opportunities for all to participate and share their unique
gift
What We Teach
- We believe that God is not an external personality, but a loving
presence that resides in all things.
- We believe that all people are equal within this presence, recognizing
that this love is unconditional and non-judgmental.
- We believe in the Universal Law of Cause and Effect that has us
experience the consequences of our actions, not as a reward or punishment,
but as a natural result of those actions.
- We believe that our thoughts and beliefs create our experience and
that by changing our minds we truly change our lives.
- We believe in the power of prayer, not as a petition or supplication,
but as an alignment with the power and presence of God that always
says, “Yes” to that which we have the consciousness or
belief to accept.
- We believe that each spiritual path leads to the same realization
of union with God.
